Integration
Art-Net relay control straight from your lighting console
Trigger relays from an Art-Net DMX channel and send Art-Net from buttons with the RELO IO8. Consoles run effects, practicals and power through contactors.
A DMX channel that switches a contact
Patch the RELO IO8 in your console like a fixture. When a channel on a universe crosses a value, a relay switches. Effect gates, practicals, motor controllers and stage power contactors follow the cue stack, with no DMX relay pack and no separate gateway.
Buttons that send Art-Net
In the other direction, a wall switch or a stage manager button on an input can send an Art-Net frame to set channels or fire a scene. That is lighting control without a console in the room.
- Art-Net receive in match mode or stream mode
- Art-Net send to a universe, unicast or broadcast
- OSC to Art-Net and Art-Net to OSC conversion
Questions
Common questions.
The RELO IO8 speaks Art-Net. If your console only sends sACN, most consoles can output both, or send Art-Net from a node.
Yes. Set a threshold in the flow, and the relay switches when the channel crosses it.
Start with one. Scale when you need to.
