A Crestron alternative for rooms that do not need a programmer
Looking for a Crestron alternative? Cueva Control runs relays, inputs and IP control on open protocols, configured on a canvas instead of programmed.
Crestron is the reference for a reason
Crestron systems run boardrooms, campuses and homes all over the world. The ecosystem covers processors, touch panels, video distribution, lighting and a large network of certified dealers and programmers. For a big, integrated project with a long support contract, that depth is what you are buying.
Where the trade changes
The same depth is overhead in a small room. Systems are typically sold and programmed through the dealer channel, and changing what a button does often means going back to the programmer. For a room whose whole job is screen down, projector on, lights to a scene, that is a long chain for a short list.
Cueva Control takes the other end. The RELO IO8 is bought directly, configured in Cueva Desktop by drawing a flow, and talks open protocols to everything else. The integrator who installed it can change it on site in minutes.
Using both
They are not exclusive. A RELO IO8 can sit next to an existing control system as extra relays and inputs, taking TCP or HTTP commands from the processor. That is often the cheapest way to add I/O to a room that is already programmed.
Side by side
Crestron and Cueva Control.

Questions
Common questions.
Not for every project. It does not make video switchers or a range of touch panels. It replaces the control logic, relays and inputs in rooms where that is what the job is.
Yes. Any system that can send TCP, UDP or HTTP can trigger flows and switch relays on the RELO IO8.
No. Cueva Desktop is free to download, and the training on our site is optional. Most integrators deploy their first flow the same day.
Start with one. Scale when you need to.
