Our story

Built by installers, for installers.

Cueva Control was born out of frustration. After installing AV systems in venues, theatres and corporate spaces worldwide, we kept running into the same wall: control systems priced for Fortune 500 companies, locked behind proprietary ecosystems, or simply not designed around the day-to-day reality of a professional integrator.

So we built our own. Starting with the hardware: compact, rack-ready, PoE-powered. A software stack that runs on-device, scales to multi-venue deployments and speaks the protocols your equipment already understands.

We are a small, focused team in the Netherlands, and we ship everything ourselves. Every decision comes back to one question: does this make the installer’s job easier?

2023
The problem identified
After years installing professional AV systems worldwide, it was clear that existing control systems were overpriced, overcomplicated or too closed. There had to be a better way.
2024
Cueva Control founded
Founded in Berkel en Rodenrijs with one goal: build the control system we always wished existed. Open, reliable, and made for the professional installer.
2025
RELO IO8 launches
The first product: eight inputs, eight relays, PoE-powered, running the full Cueva Control stack. Deployed across the Netherlands and beyond.
2026
The platform expands
New accessories, an expanding hardware line, and a software suite covering configuration, interface building and end-user control.

Bas leads software, platform and product. He designs the tools, the interfaces and the systems that tie hardware and cloud together.

Co-founder

Jason brings years of hands-on experience installing professional AV. He shapes the hardware direction and keeps it honest to what an integrator actually needs.
