The RELO IO8 is our first hardware product: a compact, PoE-powered relay and IO controller built for professional AV and show control installations. It gives you eight independent relay outputs and eight GPIO inputs in a half-rack-width chassis, managed entirely through Cueva Control.
Built for professional AV
Every relay on the RELO IO8 switches independently and each GPIO port can be configured as an input or output. That means you can read contact closures, button presses, and sensor signals on the same device that drives screens, blinds, lighting zones, and legacy AV equipment. One device, both sides of the signal chain.
It runs over PoE+ from a standard network switch, so there is no separate power supply or additional cabling. Mount it in a rack with the RM99 bracket, or behind a panel or desk with the WM33 wall mount.

Automations that run on the device
The RELO IO8 does not just execute commands. It runs full automation flows built in Cueva Desktop directly on the hardware. Triggers, conditions, timers, relay actions, network messages, Art-Net, OSC, TCP, and UDP are all available as nodes. Wire them together visually, deploy the flow over the network, and the device runs it without a connected computer.
Flows run locally on the device. If network connectivity is lost, your automations continue running without interruption.

The RELO IO8 is designed for installations where you need reliable, programmable IO without the overhead of a full show controller:
- Boardrooms and meeting rooms: tie wall panels, room booking systems, displays, and AV equipment into a single automated system
- Theatres and event venues: trigger relay outputs and Art-Net lighting cues from GPIO inputs or network commands
- Broadcast and production: bridge IP control systems to legacy hardware using relay contacts and network message protocols
- Retail and hospitality: automate lighting scenes, AV zones, and signage on schedules or occupancy triggers
