Switch relays from an HTTP request or a webhook
The RELO IO8 is an HTTP relay: switch outputs from a REST call, a webhook or a web app, and send HTTP requests out when an input changes. No middleware needed.
HTTP in, relay out
An HTTP Webhook trigger in Cueva Desktop gives the RELO IO8 an endpoint. A booking system, a home automation hub, a script or another control system calls it, and the flow switches relays, recalls a preset or does anything else a flow can do.
Input in, HTTP out
It works the other way too. When an input closes, the flow sends a GET, POST or PUT to any URL, with values from the flow injected into the request. A door contact can notify a web service, a button can start a media server, a sensor can log to a dashboard.
- GET, POST, PUT, DELETE and PATCH, over HTTP or HTTPS, with values from the flow in the URL and body
- Webhook triggers for remote resets from any system that can send HTTP
- Conditions in between, so a request only fires when it should
Questions
Common questions.
It exposes HTTP endpoints through the webhook trigger in its flows, and it can call any REST API with the HTTP action. Bitfocus Companion uses its control API directly.
Cueva Horizon provides remote access without opening ports or a VPN. Exposing the device directly to the internet is not recommended.
