Whether you are writing a design-and-build spec or a formal tender document, this guide gives you the information you need to include Cueva Control correctly.

Hardware

The primary hardware unit is the RELO IO8: an 8-input, 8-relay I/O controller in a DIN-rail or desktop form factor. It requires a single PoE+ (802.3at) port or a 12V DC supply and connects to the control network via a standard RJ45 port.

  • Supply: PoE+ (802.3at, class 4) or 12V 2A DC barrel
  • Network: 100BASE-TX Ethernet, static IP or DHCP
  • Relay contacts: SPDT, 10A @ 250V AC, normally open or normally closed
  • GPIO inputs: opto-isolated, 3.3V–24V logic compatible

Software licensing

Each RELO IO8 ships with the first year of the annual license included. The license covers Cueva Desktop software, firmware updates, and Horizon dashboard access. Renewal is per-device, per year.

Network requirements

Cueva Control devices require access to the control VLAN or management network. For Horizon remote access, outbound HTTPS (port 443) to the Cueva Control cloud is required. All local automation runs on-device with no cloud dependency.

For tender documents, the Cueva Control product datasheet and compliance declarations are available from the downloads page or on request from the sales team.
